Strength Forged in Service, Renewed in Tujunga
SFLN Rehab honors the discipline you already carry. Our clinical-intensive programs meet veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers where they are — with evidence-based care and zero judgment.
About SFLN Rehab
SFLN Rehab was founded by someone who lived through addiction and built the treatment center they wished had existed. Located on Commerce Avenue in Tujunga, our 32-bed facility operates with a singular conviction: the stigma surrounding substance use disorder causes more harm than the substances themselves. Our 63-member clinical team — including staff with military and first-responder backgrounds — delivers structured, evidence-driven treatment designed for people accustomed to high-pressure environments.
Over 2,200 individuals have walked through our doors in the past seven years. Many arrived believing they had to hide their struggles. They left knowing recovery demands the same discipline they once applied to protecting others.

Veteran & First Responder Focus
Our clinical team includes members with military and emergency-services backgrounds who understand the unique stressors driving addiction in service-oriented professions.
Clinical-Intensive Programming
Three daily therapy sessions — group, individual, and specialty — anchored in CBT, DBT, and EMDR. Research shows intensive early engagement improves 12-month sobriety rates by up to 40%.
Stigma-Free Environment
Addiction is a medical condition, not a character flaw. Every protocol at SFLN Rehab is built to dismantle shame and replace it with accountability and mutual respect.
Community Reintegration Planning
Treatment does not end at discharge. We build individualized reintegration plans addressing employment, housing, family reconnection, and ongoing peer support in the Tujunga area.
Treatment Programs
Medical Detox
Our 3-to-7-day medically supervised detox provides round-the-clock physician monitoring and medication-assisted treatment when clinically indicated. Withdrawal is managed with protocols calibrated for each substance — including opioids, alcohol, and benzodiazepines — so you can stabilize safely before transitioning to structured care.
Residential Treatment
Our 30-to-90-day residential program immerses you in a clinical-intensive environment with three therapy sessions daily. Individual counseling, group processing, and specialty modalities like EMDR and Somatic Experiencing address trauma at its roots — particularly for those carrying the weight of service-related experiences.
Outpatient Program
Structured outpatient care allows you to maintain work and family responsibilities while attending 8 to 12 weeks of scheduled therapy. Sessions are built around CBT and motivational enhancement techniques, with flexible scheduling designed for professionals transitioning back into daily life.
Stories of Recovery
— Marcus D., Reluctant Starter, Alumni"I told myself for two years that I didn't need help — that asking for it meant weakness. The first week at SFLN Rehab, I barely spoke in group. By week three, I realized the people sitting next to me had been carrying the same silence. That room broke something open in me that I'd been locking down since my second deployment."
— Janelle W., Former Patient"I came in thinking my problem was painkillers. Turns out, I'd been self-medicating untreated PTSD and depression for nearly a decade. The clinical team here didn't just address the substance use — they uncovered the conditions underneath it. Dual diagnosis treatment changed everything for me."
— Rosa A., RN, Healthcare Worker"Twelve-hour shifts in the ICU became my excuse. A drink after work turned into a bottle before work. When I finally admitted what was happening, I expected judgment — especially from a treatment center. SFLN Rehab gave me the opposite. The staff understood burnout in a way that felt personal, not clinical."
